1. Processor speed is specified as the nominal operational processor frequency measured in GHz for the device. Some processors have power management which allows the processor to run at a lower GHz rate to save power, for example, if you have a 1 GHz Processor with power management, it may have a nominal operational frequency lower than 1 GHz.
2. Some computers have shared video memory which uses a portion of installed system memory. If your Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) uses shared memory, then no additional graphics memory is required beyond the 1 GB system memory requirement if you have a graphics card that has onboard memory or the GPU uses dedicated memory then 128MB is required.
3. A DVD-ROM drive may be either internal or external (not integral, not built into the system).
