Windows Vista Premium System Requirements:
- 1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor*.
- 1 GB of system memory.
- Support for DirectX 9 graphics with a WDDM driver,
- 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)**, Pixel Shader 2.0 and 32 bits per pixel.
- 40 GB of hard drive capacity with 15 GB free space.
- DVD-ROM Drive***.
- Audio output capability.
- Internet access capability.
*Processor speed is specified as the nominal operationalprocessor frequency measured in GHz for the device. Some processors have power management which allows the processor to run at a lower GHz rate to save power, for example if you have a 1 GHz processor with power management, it may have a nominal operational frequency lower than 1 GHz.
**Some computers have shared video memory which uses a pportion of installed system memory. If your Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) uses shared memory, then no additional graphics memory is required beyond the 1gb system memory requirement if you have a graphics card that has onboard memory or the GPU uses dedicated memory, then a minimum of 128mb GPU memory is required
